Another Schlep Towards Normalcy
When I was first in the rehab at The Laurels, I needed something more substantial than a hospital gown. My first thougth was a nightshirt, because it had to fit over the braces on my legs and the boot on my right foot. What Mary found were these giant stretchy shorts. Some kind of athletic gear, apparently. but they stretched over everything and yet provided the impression of being fairly normal shorts. And they were a godsend.
