On a lighter note

This comic strip ran last Sunday. I found that it struck a seriously sympathetic chord.

  1. A sense of humor is a good thing. I believe it’s “God using bad for good” during challenges like these. For me it’s to keep a sense of joy about life and hope. But then sometimes reality is a good thing to consider. I headed off on this trip to GA on faith and have had too many challenges. Stupid seems to fit the description rather than faith. Got myself in too deep but Randal called a friend that lives here and she’s been helping out. I was brought up with the phrase being very much drilled in: “don’t ask anybody for anything.” I think a sense of humor would work better for me and make me less silly in making decisions about what I can do.

P.S. Would appreciate you not posting this. Only Mary and my friend across the street from our house know that I’m gone. Randal doesn’t like having to have folks ask a lot of questions at church that he never quite knows how to answer. LOL THe simple answer would be: “I just live with a crazy girl that I call my wife.”
